Privacy
This notice covers this site, hive.qodoonect.com: the HIVE page, the Runes at /runes, the whitepaper and these legal pages. Collect and the other Qodoonect sites have their own notices.
The short version
- No account, no sign-in, no cookies.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- No form: this site does not collect your email address or name. The launch list is not open.
- What you open in a Rune stays in your browser unless you export it yourself.
What is stored, and where
In your browser
Your Light | Dark choice is saved in your browser's local storage under hive-theme. Several Runes can keep their own state there too (for example a family tree you are drawing, game scores or graph settings); Capture Knowledge and Bee Swarm keep your notes or your swarm there only after you choose to. It never leaves your device, and clearing the site data in your browser removes it.
On the server
The site is static and is served by Vercel, our hosting provider. Like any web server, it receives the technical data of each request — your IP address, the page asked for, the time and your browser's user agent — to deliver the page and keep the service secure. We do not combine this with anything else.
Third parties your browser may contact
The HIVE page, the whitepaper, these legal pages and the Runes gallery load everything from this site: fonts and scripts included. Some Runes load more, directly from your browser:
- Open-source libraries (D3, React, JSZip and others) from public CDNs — unpkg.com, cdnjs.cloudflare.com and cdn.jsdelivr.net — and fonts from Google Fonts. These providers see your IP address when your browser requests the files.
- GitHub, when you ask CodeFlow or CodeGraph to read a repository, or Capture Knowledge to read a repository's README: the request goes from your browser to GitHub's API (api.github.com). A GitHub file link (github.com/…/blob/…) pasted into Capture Knowledge is read from raw.githubusercontent.com instead. If you give CodeFlow a GitHub token, it is used only in requests to GitHub.
- Any address you paste into Capture Knowledge: your browser fetches it directly.
- Collect: a Rune sends nothing on its own. When you press COLLECT, a panel shows the export's title, summary, kind and the size of its data (not the data itself). Only if you then confirm with “Siųsti į Collect” does the Rune pass the export — its title, summary, kind, the Rune's name, the time it was made and the data — to collect.qodoonect.com in your browser. Collect's server receives it only when you press Send there. The same panel lets you download the export as a JSON file instead. A Rune that cannot export just opens Collect's sign-in page.
Qodoonect does not receive what you load, paste or draw in a Rune unless you send it with Collect yourself.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, or to restrict or object to its use. For this site that is, at most, server request data. Write to hello@qodoonect.com. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Changes
If this site starts collecting anything new — the launch list, for example — this notice changes first, and the page that collects it will say what is kept and for how long.
